Oklahoma State Senator

Adam Pugh represents Senate District 41 from Edmond, OK and was first elected in 2016. He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Education Committee, Chair of Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, and is the Chair and founder of the Oklahoma Aerospace and Aviation Caucus. Adam is an owner and Chief Growth Officer of Ready 3 LLC, an aerospace and defense company. In May 2017, Adam was named as one of Oklahoma’s “40 under 40” achievers and the State Chamber of Commerce Rising Star. In 2020 Adam was the first legislator in the country to be recognized as a regulatory reform champion by the White House. His work on veterans and military issues has seen him receive numerous accolades from the Department of Defense and this past year he was presented with the ‘Quilt of Honor’ from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Adam is a former US Air Force officer, serving nearly 8 years on active duty as an Electronic Combat Officer and logging over 2,000 flying hours onboard the E-3 AWACS. Adam flew on combat support missions in the Balkans and the Middle East as well as NORAD missions over the US after the 9/11 attacks. His assignments include Tyndall AFB, Florida; Geilenkirchen NATO AB, Germany; Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, and Kadena AB, Japan.
After the Air Force, Adam went to work for Boeing aerospace doing Instructional Systems Design and Electronic Warfare before launching his own company.
Adam and his wife Sarah have 3 children and are involved throughout the community. Adam is a member of the Edmond VFW and sits on the Board of Directors Leadership Council for the YMCA, University of Central Oklahoma President’s Council, and OU Price College of Business Advisory Board. Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s Degree in International Relations & National Security from Troy University, and an MBA from University of Oklahoma.
